Over the past months, the Melitta Group management board has undertaken an intensive review of the entire group strategy and conducted in-depth analyses of the group various divisions and its existing portfolio. Building on this insight, the “Melitta 2020” strategy was developed to lay out the long-term orientation of the group, including concrete targets.
The Melitta Group posted sales of € 1,347 million in 2012 (prior year: € 1,408 million). This decline of 4% was mainly due to the discontinuation of temporary green bean exports in Brazil and currency effects in this country. Adjusted for these effects, sales of the Melitta Group rose slightly.
May, 2012. The Melitta Group was generally satisfied with the course of business in its fiscal year 2011. For the second year in a row, Melitta achieved sales growth of eight percent – from € 1,301 million to € 1,408 million.
